Chile & Argentina tour - March 2024

While in the northern hemisphere winter is drawing to a close, in the southern hemisphere summer is coming to an end.

That’s a great time to travel to the southernmost countries of South America as temperatures are not so high, and most people are back from their summer vacations.

In early March we were able to visit two countries in the southern part of South America: Chile and Argentina.  Here we visited various aeroclubs, FBOs, museums, technical schools, police facilities, military bases and got to see lots of wrecks and relics.

Short Ecuador tour + flower season spotting - February 2024

Late January and early February are moments of high activity in Quito’s “Mariscal Sucre” international airport.  This is due to the fact that tons of Ecuadorian roses are exported just in time for St. Valentine’s day on February 14th.

Our yearly Spotter Day takes place during this time inside Quito’s airport.  For this, we organized a short tour before the Spotter Day in which we had a few people from Germany visit us.

We were able to visit different locations in Quito, its surroundings and Latacunga to see military and civil aviation, as well as various preserved aircraft.

Uruguay tour - August 2023

As part of a tour to Perú organized by an agency in the UK, we organized and operated a tour to Uruguay.

We were able to visit various bases of the Uruguayan Air Force (FAU), as well as the “Laguna del Sauce” naval base in Punta del Este.  General aviation planes were seen at the Angel Adami airport as well as a few wrecks and relics.

Despite being a small country, Uruguay and its aviation has a lot to offer.

Ecuador tour - November 2022

On November 2022 we had the great pleasure of having a group of plane-spotters from the UK visit Ecuador.

For a few days we were able to visit various military bases, airports, and see different wrecks and relics both in the coastal region and highlands.

This group was mainly interested in military aviation, so we got to see a great part of Ecuador’s military aviation: its air force and army.
